This is actually my own ear. Excuse the poor pic, as I was using my phone. I got it on a whim and, yes, it hurt like a bitch but it was so worth it. Unfortunately, due to an unsanitary working environment, it got infected and my ear swelled so bad I had to have the bar cut out with wire cutters which is a real shame because it was really cool.

I’ve been seeing a lot of this mistake lately so just keep it in mind. If your piercer wants to do a surface with barbells, just leave.
